Nearly all the State’s Lemon Laws and Statutes are similar to the Federal Magnuson-Moss Warranty Act which makes breach of warranty a violation of federal law. The lemon law states that a vehicle that continues to have a defect that substantially impairs its use, value, or safety and has been repaired at least four times for the same issues and the issue has not been fixed, the car qualifies as a Lemon.
Wisconsin has their own set of laws regarding what is and in not a “lemon”. If your car is not considered a "lemon" in Wisconsin you do have other recourses. Lemon laws do not have a specific time limit for filling a law suit and a court would decide if your case were too old.
